NEW JOHN DEERE Z-TRAK™ ESTATE SERIES COMBINES PERFORMANCE, COMFORT AND SAFETY
CARY, N.C. – New for 2008, John Deere introduces
the Z-Trak™ Estate Series — a new pair of residential
zero-turn radius mowers combining outstanding cutting capability with best-in-class
comfort, convenience and control. Ideal for time-starved homeowners seeking
a more productive, enjoyable mowing experience, both Estate Series models (Z510A
and Z520A) deliver legendary John Deere performance and reliability in a sleek,
ergonomic package.
Outstanding Performance and Reliability
Superior performance
begins at the foundation of any zero-turn mower — the frame. Built from
years of experience producing professional lawn care equipment, the Estate
Series features a robotically-welded channel frame and an industry-recognized
7-Iron™ deck,
stamped from a single piece of thick, seven-gauge steel. A unique airflow
design lifts grass and delivers a precise, even cut with 48-, 54- or 60-inch
mower decks.
With a powerful V-Twin Estate Series engine, the 22-hp Z510A and
25-hp Z520A feature heavy-duty unitized drive transmissions, large displacement
engines, and 10 mph transport speed to get the job completed in as little time
as possible.
John Deere backs the Z-Trak Estate Series with a two-year or 300 hour
limited warranty and 30-day promise, where customers can try the equipment
for 30 days and if unsatisfied, return it for a different mower or a refund.
Comfort, Convenience and Safety
Sit back and relax — John Deere transforms
the riding mower experience with a high-back deluxe seat with armrests and
wide rear tires for a balanced ride. Controls are conveniently grouped together
on the right console, including an easy-to-adjust height-of-cut knob that
allows customers to make 1/4" adjustments from their seat. The “Turn
Key + 1” starting system means starting the machine is as easy as starting
a car, and adjustable motion-control levers feature shock absorption to allow
for smooth, precise operation.
Also standard on the Z520A is a Comfort & Convenience package, combining
ergonomic control levers with contoured soft-touch grips and built-in electronic
controls to raise or lower the mower deck or turn off the blades.
For added safety, a foldable Roll Over Protection Structure (ROPS) is standard
on both models and the parking brake can be engaged with the left foot to allow
users to keep their hands on the controls.
John Deere Mobile Service offers
an at-home maintenance program, allowing homeowners to take advantage of
a strong national dealer network by having a factory trained service professional
conduct a routine 14-point inspection, called Ready To Mow™, to ensure
John Deere customers' equipment runs smoothly for a long time.
